We had a blast at this show! We played in Charleston, SC the night before, and had not slept...yet! When I booked the gig, the talent buyer told me they were "completely set" on in house PA. I noticed alot of bands played there that shared other venues with us, so I figured it would be fine to use their system instead of ours. When we loaded in, we found a small PA that was well worn, to be very kind, which we had to bring out of a room in the back of the joint. We all had a good laugh, got very scared at the potential for disaster, and shook it off like old pros while getting ready for sound check. The night was a success, and I AM GLAD TO SAY...we finally got some sleep much later that night! |
